Yvonne Woods

SOPHIA

A graduate of The Julliard School, Yvonne is the lead actress in Happy 40th, and has appeared in numerous TV, film, and stage productions across the country: Anna in Burn This at Santa Cruz Shakespeare,  Miss Julie in Miss Julie at Yale Repertory Theater, and Nunu in The Doctor and the Patient at Kennedy Center. Yvonne's film credits include If You Could Say it in Words, and Perfume.

Brian Slaten

BEN

Brian has made many guest appearances on TV shows, including Criminal Minds, Army Wives, Fringe, and Rizzoli and Isles.  In film, Brian has appeared in Deception and Uggs for Gaza. He was most recently nominated for a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for the role of Danny in Five Mile Lake at the South Coast Repertory.

ANA

Jenni is an actress who has worked in American film, television, and theater. She has guest starred in a variety of television series, including Big Love, True Blood, Lost, The Booth at the End, and Fringe. She has also had small roles in the films Cry-Baby, 200 Cigarettes, S1m0ne, and Finding Amanda.

Robyn Cohen

SASHA

With innumerable credits in film, TV, and stage, Robyn is best known for playing opposite Bill Murray in Wes Anderson’s critically acclaimed The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.  She also played a pivotal role in the film Celestine Prophecy.  Robyn can currently be seen in the recurring role, Wendy, on ABC’s Cristela. And will soon be seen in Bukowski, a film directed by James Franco.

Madoka Raine

DIRECTOR/WRITER

Madoka began her career as an actor, working in NYC and LA in both film and television. After making appearances in numerous indie films, she was inspired to write. She wrote a feature film that was a finalist for the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program. She then wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the short film Jumping In. which debuted at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival - Short Film Corner. Her most recent project is Happy 40th, a feature film that she wrote, directed, and produced, and had it's world premiere at the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival.  It won Audience Awards at both Bend Film Festival and Woods Hole Film Festival, and she won "Best Feature Writer" at LA Femme Film Festival.

John Wakayama Carey

CINEMATOGRAPHER/DIRECTOR

John (aka J.P.) is an L.A. and N.Y.C.based cinematographer. As a Columbia University MFA student, J.P. lensed over 40 short films in 8 different countries, including Above the Sea, a short film shot in Shanghai, China that earned the Gold Medal at the 41st annual Student Academy Awards. Since graduating, J.P. has been busy shooting campaigns for Adidas Originals and completed Deniz Seviyesi, a Turkish-American feature film that won the Audience Award and Jury Honorable Mention at the 2015 Slamdance Film Festival.
